Title: Automatic transmission brace
Post by: knobbler on August 25, 2025, 09:29:28 PM
Looks like I ended up misplacing my transmission brace at some point, though luckily it appears to be pretty simple to make a replacement. Can anyone tell me where the forward end joins? It's shown here (part #28):

I can figure out the transition side, so if I get some steel tube and figure out where the other end goes, I'll be good to go.

Goes to a bracket on the right axle tube.  Just happen to have the waggie up on the lift.

Just a correction that is an axle brace not a transmission brace. The early Eagles did not have it.

Talk about lucky timing! Thanks for taking that pic for me—it's exactly what I needed. I have the front axle out right now, which is prob why I wasn't immediately seeing anywhere that looked like the right attachment point  ;D
Thanks again!
