Good Evening, All --
Was hoping for a little input on replacing my 1980 258 valve stem seals. I have a pair of options for the stem seal materials.
See the attached photo, please. The seal on the far left is one of the original "unbrella" seals, and is a hard plastic. The Felpro replacement seal in the middle is also a hard plastic, P/N SS70530. The option on the right is a soft silicone material with a spring from Enginetech, P/N S2886-20.
I am wondering which type of seal to go with, the hard plastic Felpro, or the soft silicone Enginetech.
I've searched a little online, but it's an "opinions are like a-------" situation, many different types are endorsed.

Ok, thank you for the feedback! Seems the best course of action here is to go for the factory-style seals.
