i have an odd issue with my wipers that I can't seem to find the cause of and was hoping one of you might have an idea that I haven't thought of. My problem only seems to pop up when it's raining or if I use the washer for to long. When I turn on the wipers while it's raining my wipers only work on high but once it has stopped raining for a little bit low and intermittent work again, I've been thinking it's a ground issue but can't figure out where it might be. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
Does the low and int. speeds start and quit and start again or not start at all ?
Check the ground on the switch case.

they don't start at all till things start to dry up which is kind of confusing.
The check out flow chart says to check continuity of wiper switch , governor , wiper motor and ground. Your looking for a broken wire or bad connection. If all checks are good then it says replace the governor. I'm thinking like you . I would start with the motor and check the ground and connections there . Reason is that is what would get wet unless you have a leak under the dash getting the governor wet.

that would about be my luck and is what I'm almost expecting it to be as it does it when I wash the windshield to. And the last time it did it I was adjusting the windshield sprayers so that they would stop hitting the wiper arms and the motor and all the wires coming from it were dry so yay me I think I have another leak. :banghead:
