Title: Hood Scoop
Post by: ChickenFarmer3 on May 20, 2017, 08:11:10 PM
I am thinking that I need a hood scoop.  I have a weber 38 installed with an adapter to have dual exhausts.  Runs great, but it is too tall.   I had to smash the air filter to get the hood to close.

This got me to thinking...  If I already need a hood scoop...  Should I do a cold air intake and plan the scoop for that?  Here are the 3 hood scoops that I have seen.  I will also upload a picture of my air cleaner.

As long as water can be kept out and a screen added for bugs.  It does look nice though.

I agree, second one is best.  I like how it lines up with the stock bulge on the hood.

I found another 1.  Not sure if it adds any room in the rear, nut I like the look.

I like either the second one or the new (red hood) one.

I was thinking something like the ram air similar to the second GEN. Javelin (AMX)  only have the power bulge part of hood be the ram air part
I saw one like that but can't find it now
