Title: SX/4 Slave Cyl. Components
Post by: RookieSX/4 on November 22, 2015, 09:25:01 AM
Was looking through an old manual earlier today and came across this picture. This looks 90% identical to the setup on my Eagle except for those small parts between the end of the slave cyl. rod and the shift fork. The spring, pivot, washer and seal...were these parts on all eagles? I also don't have a heat shield on my slave cylinder either. What the heck?!

Yes, all parts are factory original, but somewhere along the way they have been broken, worn out, or discarded. The spring is the fork return spring, not part of the clutch rod. Your car will operate without them, but problems may ensue with shifting, noise and wear. The washer and seal you could make up yourself if you thought you really need them. [washer and hose the right size to fit]

Hope this helps, ask if need more.
And happy Eagle-ing !  ;)
