Title: Front Wheel Bearing carriers now available
Post by: AMC of Houston on August 19, 2015, 08:41:37 PM
Just stumbled onto the fact that Crown is making Eagle front wheel bearing carriers now (roller bearing style - J3238526).   So now you have a repair option if you spin a race in your bearing carrier.

Interesting. I wonder why they would invest in a part with limited demand. Maybe someone at Crown has an Eagle.

thanks. part looks like tapered bearing piece, and is for all 80-88 Eagles, so I don't think it's just for the early roller style. looks good though. gz

The early style was ball bearings; not rollers.

I just had my front left hub bearing replaced on my 85 Eagle. They said it was pressed in wrong and/or the wrong grease applied. The bearings were replaced in 2012. Only 2000 miles on that one. I'll have to order the carriers!!

Probably used in some other car too. (Searched and found Bejing Jeep used them)
