Man oh man! I've tried everything imaginable trying to remove my rear wiper arm. Seriously I've tried here and there and it's been around 2 hours! How hard could it be?! I bought the generic 'removal tool' for wiper arms. I tried the 'clip' on the inside of the arm base to be removed...it's gone now. The spring that holds down the arm for tension popped loose. All because I'm trying to set the 'PARK' and now it has to be removed cuz of the spring tensioner. How the heck do I remove this arm off the spline?! I did a block of wood and a pry bar and if I go anymore, I'll break the shaft! HOW to do?!
It is seized due to corrosion and differant metals welding themselves in a permanent bond. sorry sounds like it should have come off if it wasn't corrosion bonded.

THAT makes complete sense! But...GRRRRRR I do have an extra arm...sounds like I may have to destroy this one and dremel the one on there off, carefully

Maybe you can use a propane torch and heat up the spot where the arm attaches to the motor - maybe the heat will make it expand a bit and come loose. Just a thought.
