Has anyone tried shaving the driprails? Are fresh door seals good enough by themselves? I think that would be a huge appearance improvement along with a rear side window that had a top and bottom edge that line up with the door windows (pretty hard to do though).
Ive gone round and round with myself on that. I think im just afraid to go shaving it off and then realizing it looks like heck...
Im certain about the looks, im worried about the leaks. It doesn't rain often here, but when it does it is ALWAYS extreme.
some 70's-80's Chrysler products had the drip rail recessed into the roof. it improves the looks of the car, but in a heavy rain storm I doubt it does anything to help. I also agree that a larger back window would help improve the looks of the car. the early eagles had trim that went around that window, which greatly improved the looks. this is just a random picture I found on the internet, but I think they should have made that trim standard.

someone will correct me but i think thats the sport model
I believe that is a sport, but all 1980 Eagle Wagons came with that trim.
