Hi to all the guys and gals here.I have a 76 hornet with a 232/auto and a 82 spirit 2.5/auto.Are there any members in Iowa, possibly in the Centerville or Des Moines area?I'd like to check out an eagle if anyone within a 100 miles or so has one.I've been a lurker on this site for a while.I've found a lot of good information here,thanks.........Greg

IowaEagle that's good news,I'm about 100 miles from you and 80 miles from BillD.I lived in and around Des Moines for years and have a lot of family in the area. You wouldn't have an extra set of eagle lower control arms and spindles you want to sell do you.I'm retired so around the house a lot.If you ever feel like showing your amc stuff to another amc guy I'd like to come have  look.I hope BillD see's this thread as well.

I have some NOS left side lower control arms with the ball joint in place.  Of course you are welcome to visit.  I am retired too.   I do not have the rest of the parts that you need, but do have some others.  I might know where some spindles are at in a private junk yard.  He is tough to deal with if he does not know you.  But I can probably assist whenever the snow and mud go away.

IowaEagle when the weather gets better we'll definitely have to meet and talk amc.I'll probably hold off on buying NOS parts and let a guy that needs the super nice stuff grab them.I really appreciate the offer to take me to the yard you use.I know some guys that have small salvage yards that pretty much just sell to the people they know too. What's the best way to get a hold of BillD.I feel odd sending him a pm since I'm new here.

Send Bill a message at our Den's FB page.  He is William Dickerson.  We have done some AMC'ing together and he is a good AMC'er.     The NOS lower control arms I have, maybe 5 or 6, are there for the asking.  Price is reasonable and if you pick one up then you save a bunch on shipping.  I am thinking $75.

I'm in Centerville, your price on the lower control sounds reasonable.I'm going to try to make sure I can get all the parts.I hope your junkyard guy has the other side and spindles.

He had some Eagles.  The one I got the front clip off of may be the best bet for spindles and the other control arm.  Hope it is still there.  It is a Kammback that is really rusted out.

Does he pulls the parts or the buyer pull the parts? We might be able to get something going here.

We pull.  That is how I got my front clip for $50 and BillD got a lot of stuff too.

That's my kind of yard.So many salvage yards won't even let you in to see what they have.
