Title: Alternative steering wheel. .. and it squeaks
Post by: Nightpath on September 13, 2014, 08:42:31 AM
I want to replace my nasty looking old steering wheel with something a bit better. I know that Jeep ones should fit but what other vehicle's steering wheels will as well?  I want something thicker and smaller.

Also, when I them the steering wheel the bugger squeaks. In not to sure on how to fix it as the sound is coming from the shift inside the column. Drives me nuts.

It's the contact for the horn scraping on the brass part behind it. A little dielectric grease shut mine up 10 years ago.
