That's competitive with aftermarket for a D60, but still about 4x what I have in the car and all the parts on the shelf (including a D44 rear...)

8.8 from an Explorer is cheaper and easier! 3.55 is rare. Usually 3.73 or 4.10.

The military Jeep uses leaf springs, so I figured it would be closer to what an eagle needs than the Ford rear.

I haven't installed it yet, but all I've had to do to the D44 so far is swap the shock brackets to the opposite side of the axle.
