FREE! 1980 Concord DL 4dr. Clear title. 258 Auto, Cruise, tilt, PS, PB A/C (needs compressor which I have). This is being offered as a parts car. I will mess with it to get it started -- it was a very smooth runner. Body is good except for rotten roof around the opera windows and rust thru on the rear quarters behind the wheels. Vinyl is shot. All glass is good. Bring your trailer. Located in Toledo, Iowa.
That's 2 cars now you've offered up that I'd love to be able to get to.
Feel bad about the Cherokee and not being able to get it. Same here love to have a way to get it but doubt it will happen.. THat motor sounds like a donor to one of mine..
The Jeep lives on and still is wearing out highways in Minnesota.
You are a good man Doug! Why offering as a parts car? Sounds like it's a runner?
HI all I would love to have that car then I could get my 77 Hornet hatchback back on the road .....my keeper said no she is not up for a road tripe .....I am always up for a road tripe if I have some one to help with driving .....
That car sounds so good and its just what I need for the 77 ..........don

I don't want folks to think they can just get in it and take off on much of a road trip. It needs some TLC and I figure I can let another AMC'er do what they feel is necessary. Just passing the AMC love along.
Those can be the fun road trips though. Maybe that's just because I've been watching to much roadkill on YouTube.
At this time the Concord will be picked up tomorrow to another AMC'er.
HI That is good to hear ....Your a good man Doug ....don :amc: :amc:

Thanks. He is planning to be here mid-afternoon. I put about 60K on the car the 11 1/2 years I had it. Only repairs I had make were a front wheel bearing and bottom ball joints. It has 128,000 miles on it now. Many of the ignition parts still have the AMC logo on them.
The Concord is back home in Wisconsin with another AMC Eagle owner. He is a member at our FB page but not here, yet. His dad did the hauling and I learned he used to work in AMC parts distribution center in Milwaukee. Both great guys.
Sounds like it went to a great home!!
Great job Doug, glad to see it found a good home
Now we all just have to save another one!
