Used Lucas oil stabilizer for the first time in my Eagle on this past oil change last Thursday along with the same oil I've always used: Mobil Super5000 10W-30. I wasn't trying to cure anything in particular, I just figured the Eagle deserved a treat. The next day I noticed a slight tick from the engine I've never heard (lifter?) and now the RMS is dripping slightly. I've used the Lucas in the past on other AMC engines with no ill effects but I probably won't use it again with the next oil change.
Have any of you guys had similar issues?
HI Zoro I have been using Lucas oil ,gas and trans treatments for years and I have never had any trouble with the motors .....I put it in the oil and drove it for 50 miles on it and it smoothed out a lot ....so I put in some gas treatment and after 150 miles it was smooth .....every other oil change I use Lucas ....and the same for the gas I am a Lucas backer....don
