Title: All the Time in 4WD
Post by: rybaczewski on March 11, 2014, 04:39:33 AM
I have a 1984 Wagon.  Is it ok to leave it in 4wd all the time or not?  I've heard so much about this and I still don't know the answer.

The early eagles couldn't be taken out of 4 wheel drive so they were all made with the capability to be driven all the time that way.

I've been considering putting the NP219 I have in my Eagle (and selling the NP229) because I can disconnect the front axle and run 4 high lock to get 2wd plus have 4 high lock as a backup for REALLY sloppy situations.
