I am really tired of the wiper blades coming off the original flat-spade type wiper arms. Quite sometime back, a JEEP blade of the correct length with the hook type attachment was mentioned and I didn't pay any attention. Does anyone know the model and year range of such a JEEP? Thanks in advance. :amc:

Cherokee arms fit. I think 96 or 98 and later.. Just look for the hook fitting on a Cherokee.
I think I pulled mine off a mid 90s Grand Cherokee. Someone else had chimed in that early 90s Cherokees would work, the had the side post style. Both better than that flat blade on the Eagles!!
My 95 XJ does not have hook connection..
Here is a picture of the replacement wiper arm for a 97 Grand Cherokee. Looks like it is the hook variety

This is good to know! I'm gonna grab some at the pick n pull
Hate those blade ones, had them pop off a time or two!
Yep, there are a couple threads on this Cherokee replacement already. One of the first upgrades I would recommend when you buy an Eagle.
I have only lost one blade off of my Eagle. My ambo still has the OE metal blades and they stick like glue, thank goodness we can still get refills. My Patriot has the hook type and its was so cold this year the blade itself fell apart and came off the arm.
I saved the stick style blades from my '73 J4000. They have an adapter to use the later model 80/90s XJ wipers. Commonly referred to as GM style or (size in inches)-2 blades in the Trico system. I put XJ arms on my wagon.
