Title: Throttle Linkage Replacement Part
Post by: idahosx4 on December 08, 2013, 09:57:13 PM
I need to replace the throttle linkage rod in my sx/4 (highlighted yellow below). Mine is rusted and beyond repair and falls off often. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? I googled around some but my google-fu is pretty weak. I assume this is a pretty standard part that came on many AMCs but I'm not sure if there's a different name for it other than just throttle linkage.

do you need the whole rod or just the clip.  I do have some new clips left over from the store.

Is the clip just the part that clamps around the ball? If so that would probably work since that's the part that is broken, though I'd prefer to replace the whole rod if possible it's pretty rusty.
