Post by: donnyeagle on December 14, 2012, 11:42:30 AM
What is the best/easiest way to grease the front bearings on an 85 Eagle?

The hubs are sealed. There really isn't away to grease them.

The early ones are definitely sealed, replacements should be a pair of pressed-in bearings, but other than trying to get some bearing grease in with a gun and a needle I'm not sure it can be done without disassembling them, I've never tackled that.

Someone here on the nest drilled and tapped a grease fitting into their hubs while they were being rebuilt. The factory did not provide any way to grease them.
