Title: Pressing in new hub bearings help
Post by: 85AmCfreak on December 11, 2012, 03:52:08 PM
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to press the hub bearings into the old carriers.  Considering that I have had this done at a professional machine shop and this is the 2nd time I am doing it, I just don't trust them.

Make sure the race doesn't just plop in. It should take a bit of pressure. Could be made in China bearings too. (look on the bearing. I've had people buy the made in US stuff and return the made in China crap from elsewhere. It got so bad we had to start inspecting and marking the parts before they went out)
