Hey everyone. So last night I wasn't paying attention and kind of love tapped another car. I pushed in the driver side of my bumper about an inch. Just enough that it caused my foglight to fall off. Is this an easy fix or would a body shop have to repair? I'll post pics soon.
See if you can get a picture underneath of the brackets and back of the bumper. If you're lucky you just need brackets, unfortunately many Eagles suffer galvanic corrosion where the bumper and bracket meet.
The Eagle bracket is like the Concord/Hornet/Spirit bracket except it has a solid spacer where the others had the low-speed shock absorbers.
Ok I'll get pics when I get home from work. I didn't drive it today because I didn't have time to disconnect my dangling fog light.
This is why I pack zipties!
Did you ever get those pics?
This is an old thread. Drock87 crashed his Eagle recently. I've got it at my garage now repairing the damage. Actually the bumper mount in question just got cut off with my sawzaw and there isn't much left of the foglight.
The good news is that it is back to being able to move under it's own power. In a month or so I'll be posting before and after pictures of the repairs.
