Have been sent some pics from a bare bones sx/4 that have these same door panels.
Looks like these were used on some of the spirits concords and sx/4 in lue of other trim packages.

hmmmm. It looks kinda long so Im guessing its out of a 2 door model. If I had to take a guess I would say they almost have to be a mid to late 70's hornet or gremlin...Definitely pre concord/eagle.
These were Identified last night on the big forum. They are spirit door panel covers.
It's an Eagle panel.
All my 1981 SX4s and Kammbacks have those panels. All my 1982 and 1983 SX4s have the newer style of panel. All of my 1981 SX4s also have the nonreclining seats to match those panels. My 1982 Spirit has the same panels as a 1982 Eagle and my 1979 Spirit AMX has a third type of panel that is different.

I agree. My 81 SX/4 had those same panels in it when I bought it.
My 81 SX/4 doesn't have those panels, it has different ones.
I believe it depends on the trim level the SX4 has.
My '81 base model has these exact door panels (as the pics above).
But my '81 Sport has the other style.
Then my '82 DL also has the other style as well.
This pic is from my '82 DL. '81 Sport has this style as well but in black.

So it seems that this style that you have pictured comes out of the base SX4's, from my gathering.
I disagree that it was base model feature because I believe they changed all Eagles mid model year. I realize I may be wrong because it may have been a Sport feature that they made into a standard feature later. The Power bulge hood was like that, where you can find them on '81 to '84 sport station wagons only, but they became standard for all station wagons from '85 on.
