Well last night we got a first good snow so I was out in the eagle playing in the snow and when i switched it into 4x4 and started  moving the car 4x4 was working  but it was making a loud huming noise when your driving it and it didnt do that before. Has anyown ever had there eagle do that to them? and what need to be fixed ?

No loud humming noises, maybe just an added note in the background.
Have you checked the oil levels in the front diff and transfer case?

I find 2wd to be more fun in the snow anyway

I got a humming noise before when switching to 4x4 and found that it wasn't going all the way in 4wd. Make sure nothing is sticking and keeping it from going all the way into 4x4.

X2
I have had the same thing happen.  I think it is gears not quite meshing.
