Title: Gene Henderson Rally Car suspension
Post by: Zoro on July 04, 2012, 02:14:13 AM
I was just looking at some photos of the Gene Henderson rally SX4 and noticed that the front springs definitely aren't factory.

Any idea what they used? Sure does look like it can take quite a beating!

it looks to be a coil over shock spring with 2 shocks from the first picture but i only see the coil over mounted in the second picture

The angle of the shocks leads me to believe that they are mounted up under the fender.  That system does look bad :censored: though.

If it's a coilover set up you are looking for, there is a company that has them available. http://www.classicone.com/wsc/catalog/amc/amc_per1.htm

That's pretty neat. Not really looking to do anything that radical to my Eagle, was just flipping thru those photos and thought "What the heck is that and where did it come from?"
