Seem a bit overpriced.  I've used them on Jeeps and they are awesome, not sure if they will clear in an Eagle.

Probably cheaper to get a renix header and have it customized at a muffler shop. At least that's what I'm planning on.

That $$$ with shipping just about covers the 4.0 head swap and a 4.0 ceramic header.

I'got one, still in the box - might think of parting with it. never got around to installing it.

Ya clearance might be an issue for sure, I'll check out the renix

Renix will still get in the way of the eagle side axle bracket. i just made up a bracket to solve the problem on my wifes stroker.

my stroker i custom made a dual exaust for it. it was a pita

Have nothing useful now. however the modifacation is essentially just drilling the 4 holes in a flat peice of metal. and mounting the bottom bolt on the motor tight to the block and spacing the other 3 accordingly

i was under the impression that the clifford headers were shortys?  if so, why wouldn't they fit?  would be good to know considering its the last thing i need to bring my eagle project to a close.

It is not a shorty , at least the one I got is not.the drop tube ends up somewheres close to the bottom.
shoot me your email and I can send you an actuall picture of it out of the box.

Ya that's not it. That one puts all six into one. This one is a dual exhaust.

See how their different.
So this one might actually work

This is odd.  The headers they have posted on their website are shortys.  Looks like I'm going to have to give them a call and sort this out.

Thanks 68!

ps.  Here is the web link I was looking at.

Forgot to mention the down pipe. have no idea where it came from. most likely an aerostar with an aw4.

If someone wants to experiment with the clifford dual exhaust headers I have a set I don't plan on using. If I did use them I would use them in a CJ. They are new in the box. They came with one of the cars I purchased.

I'm thinking about doing this for at least my wagon and wondering if there is a noticeable gain in mpg?
what I have is an almost complete rebuild with less than 4000 miles on it and trying to tweak the carb to get it running smooth again...
