:help: I am new to this forum business. I have been intrested in motorized vehicles most of my life, but not at all good with computers. I am 69 years old, and live in a snow belt reigon of northeast Wa State close to the Canadian boarder. The SX/4 I drive is an 81 I6 3speed auto, and serves me very well every winter. I didn't realize so many people were familiar with them, and am intrested in discusing their quirks and qualities. I hope you will be patient with me as I learn to navigate this site.
The most important thing is the link under your username at the top right that says "Show new replies to your posts." This will take you to threads you have started that people have commented on. Like this post I'm making now would make the link to this thread show up when you click "Show new replies to your posts."
The one above that link is "Show unread posts since last visit." This link will show you all threads that have been updated since you last logged in.
The forum is separated into several sections which I'm sure you have seen from the forum home screen. Obviously you found the section for newbies since you found the hatchlings section.
When making new threads try to make sure you are posting in the appropriate section and if you think you have an issue or something you'd like to discuss that has maybe already been brought up then use the Search feature. It will be your best friend.
Hope this helps and enjoy your time here! :)
How long have you owned your SX/4?
Thank you for your rapid response; At least I know I did that part right. I have owned my Eagle for 6 years. I have replaced the radiator and both front rotors, calipers, and pads since I've had it. The original carbon calipers tend to stick after extended use in muddy conditions, which in turn warped the rotors. I went with a 2 inch core radiator when I replaced the original. I have a 78 F150 4/4, an 80 Chevy LUV 4/4, and an 83 S-10 Blazer. I like older 4/4s in general, but the SX/4 is the one I prefer to drive daily in the winter.
Welcome papacarn!!! Glad to know there are more SX/4's running the roads in WA state!! Mine is an 81 also.... love it to death.
