Title: Zoro II does Pikes Peak...LOTS of photos
Post by: Zoro on February 12, 2012, 06:53:43 PM
Took this road trip awhile back and I don't think I ever posted all of the photos. These pictures were shot with a disposable 35mm film camera, I'm surprised they came out as well as they did.

This trip started out in Hartsel, Colorado, geographic center of the state.

Great pics! I've got some of my 81 I used own from back in 2006. It was in July so no snow but it was snowing at the top and we were all in shorts and t-shirts.

Great photos! I didn't make it to the top due to a snow storm the day before. One of these days I gotta go back and make it to the top. 8)

I've always wanted to try and do Pikes Peak and Mt Evans on the same day so I could say I was at 2 14,000 ft peaks on the same day but never did do it.

I'm getting a nose bleed just viewing the photos!

Great pics. both of you. Like the way you can see the difference between what it looks like now & what it looks like during the summer. IF I ever get my Eagle & get to Colo. I'd love to go there.
