Holy diver Shane!  You totally hit the mark there...

I thought you'd show something somewhat beat up, or run down, but that pretty much takes the cake.  Heck, it's even shot up...

Where is it at Shane?  You know, with just a little bit of work, I think I could get that thing back on the road.

Reminds me of an episode from the Simpsons. Nelsom Muntz says "Hey, check this out! (he shoots at an old car) That's my Dad's shooting car. Just three more payments and it's ours"

I like how the chrome is still good.. hah..
We dug up a 57 Bel Air at my ex girlfriends parents place, way out in the middle of nowhere.. it was in the middle of a field.. and the chrome was still spotless after wiping it off a bit.. it was amazing to see.

Every car we dug up, the metal was rotted away, and the chrome was still good. Door handles, window trim, bumpers.. off a few car's, all in good shape.

Anyone know what it says spraypainted on the door?

I hear ya Dave, a little bondo and elbow grease she'll look as good as new!  :rotfl:

I think that car is in wisconsin...around La Crosse I believe....It had a tag on the photo but it got chopped off when I copied it....It does beg the question though how it got there, on top of that rock and all...obviously been there a while too.

Not defending wi. But I seen a few shooting at cars sitting at cabins. Including my own families cabins. It happens. I never shot an amc however.

I once stuck a borg warner transfer case  (that dissentegrated itself pounding the trails) on a hill.than shot it enough to see it start smoking. Haha fun time.

Only Fords are legal in Wisconsin...From January until December, and we still have too many running around!

That one should be pretty fast then :P

Without turning this into another brand vs brand thread, there is tons of people who would rather save XXX car and shoot an AMC and vice versa. There's people who would save an Escort or Cavalier over any AMC. It really just all depends on what you like and why you like it.

I was in highschool during the days when The Fast and The Furious had just come out and I got a lot of anti-american car talk from all the kids who ran out and picked up imports. They couldn't understand why I'd drive a gas guzzling american car. I couldn't understand why they'd dump 10K into paint and body kits on a probe, civic or celica [3 most common cars I saw] that still got destroyed by anything they tried to race. They hated my car, for no reason other than it was american made. What didn't make sense to me, was the kids with ford's who gave me 'anti american car' speak... hah.  :rotfl:

Even now, where I work everyone but me drives a 'done up' import. 99% front wheel drive, 4 cylinder. Which to me, is just incredibly boring..can't stand FWD.. but if they enjoy it, good for them. They only thing is they aren't nearly as obnoxious as the people I went to HS with. They've even invited me out to the track with them a few times.

There is always going to people who prefer one brand over another or one decade to another, one engine to another, etc. What matters is we all enjoy the hobby.

Most of the holes look like .22 and maybe some .9mm in there but that hole in the quarter panel looks like some pretty serious fire power....that one looks like the fatal shot the others are just flesh wounds.

a shotgun up close with bigger pellets will punch a hole in a body panel like that.

I fired a shotty at an old van one time from about 8 feet, and the hole was big enough to fit yer fist in.
