After Re-reading the "Gucci Hornet" post, I got to thinking, I like the idea of denim jean material for the interior. And for my bird, I would want a black distressed denim. I think that would LOOK killer in a black and red SX4 sport. I even found some fabric by the roll.

there are many types, colors and styles. But I think this would be as close to a "Levi" Edition interior as a person could get.
It would be like this Ferrari :rotfl:
you laugh, but it looks like I am not the only one thinking along these lines

Yes, I realize, but obviously there is something to be said about "appearance" I figure why go for the "Look" when I can go for the real deal. Besides, I think it would be worth it. and the material isn't exactly expensive. besides, How many cars do you know that have denim interiors these days?

The material used by AMC for the original Levi's interior wasn't really denim but a denim-like fabric. I forget the reason why they didn't go with the real thing.
awe, That is funny. Doesn't look too bad. I agree, Cloth is so much nicer to have in the extreme climate month
Kind of updating an old thread here, but I finally found a link to some of the original type Levi's material used in AMC's. Its a Jeep specialty shop, they are also advertising NOS 258 blocks.
