i have some with them mounted to my eagle. ill get them up soon. hopefully you can see in the pics that these function as both sub frame connectors and rock rails. they bolt in and only require one hole to be drilled on each side. they bolt in to two locations on the rear sub frame, two places on the front sub frame and to the transmission cross member. they were fabbed by a local 4x4 shop. he said if there was enough interest, he would be interested in making more. they could be just sub frame connectors if preferred. they are made from 1.5" dom tubing.

I would also like to see a pic of them mounted and an approximate price.
i will post on that asap.
X2 on the price and pics installed.
Are the ones pictured for a wagon or SX/4?
they are for a wagon. if i had an sx4 to work on, making some for it should be no problem. these may fit a four door sedan. someone who knows more will have to chime in on that.
I can try to help out by taking measurements for you if you want. You'll just have to give me a reference to measure from A to B.
Really would like to see how far these stick out when installed.
ok guys sorry for the delay, im dealing with alot right now. ive uploaded pics of the installed subframe connectors/ rock rails.

Wow I love those! They look great and very well made. I would definitely be interested in getting a set of them depending on the price.
i think shipping would be the rub on these. the guy who fabbed these is pretty reasonable on his prices. he would be using the originals ( on my eagle) to build a jig. so i would like to get a few definites before i turn my car back over to him. ill put a call into him on the price. i had so much work done at the same time i can't remember what i paid ;D his business usually slows down in the winter anyway, so this would be the perfect time to try and set this up.
Yeah, shipping will probably be a killer. Where are you and this builder located?
They look spectacular!

o ya, and how bout a few pics front and rear of how they are mounted?? (suprised nobody asked about that yet) are they welded on, or brackets to bolt them on? a channel welded to the subframes would probably be the strongest. do we get the underside pics soon?? :occasion14:

they are designed as bolt in, but there is no reason you couldnt weld them in, at least at the subframes. they can also be made as just subframe connectors without the rockrail outers. the earlier pics i posted show how they attach, i think. ill try to get some pics of the attachment points on the car.
im in north western NC. in the mountains. here are more pics. its difficult to get good pics of these, but these combined with my earlier pics should give a good idea. i also realized i misspoke in my earlier post, they only attach in one location on the front subframe not two.

it definitely stiffens the car. these are quite rigid as they are 1.5" .120 wall dom tubing. this is what you might use to build a full roll cage.
They look fantastic! Very impressed!
they are well made, buy a local 4x4 shop. the guy make tube buggies and the like.
