Title: Front wiper linkageunhooked
Post by: Rucuss on October 05, 2011, 11:21:05 AM
My right wiper just stopped working, :banghead: and the left has a hard time dropping down now. Being that I live in Washington and it rains constantly I have to have my wipers. So I took off the wiper motor to see the linkage. Its the only access point that I can find. Luckily it appears that the left wiper has just come unhooked. I have attempted to reattach it but have had no luck. Is there a retaining clip or something that holds the linkage on to the wiper? Any and all help is appreciated.

Did this two years ago right before the snow storms. Yes there is a part that holds it in place. I just ended up replacing the entire linkage with a spare. I'd have to dig out my old one to see what can be done. I think it was some stupid grommet that was all chewed up(usually is the case for me).
