Has anybody actually purchased some replacement nutmeg headliner material? I looked at all the usual interior suppliers and none of them list nutmeg or anything similar. I'm interested to see if anyone has been able to find some. If not, I'll go with a lighter color that matches the clothe inserts on my seats. Thanks!
I recently bought a headliner kit from WLS headliners. Mine is honey but they list nutmeg. I ordered samples from a couple different companies and nothing came close. When I saw the one from WLS and it was called honey I didn't bother getting a sample. When I received the material it wasn't even close in color. I went to a local auto trim shop and the one I had was the closest he could find in his sample library. After installing it, it looks just fine. The headliner came folded in a box. I made the mistake of leaving it in the box for a couple months and it took a while using the steam setting on an iron and holding it 1/4" from the material to get the creases out. I would suggest getting a sample. http://www.wlsheadliners.com/cherokee-explorer-s10-blazer-ramcharger-headliner-kit.html
I seem to remember an auto trim supply house on Broadway in Littleton or Englewood that sold retail. Can't remember exactly where it was.
Thanks Eaglefreek I'll check it out!
I just checked to see if the upholstery guy I used still had an add on craigslist. He does not. He had a board with a variety of samples of headliner fabric and as you can see the nutmeg matched really well. I'll call his number after school today and see if he is still around, and inquire about the origins of his fabric.

This looks pretty close to me. I also sent you a PM with another source that looks pretty close too. Held the computer up to my headliner and both look really close to me.
I got samples from a couple different companies and they looked very different then they did on my computer. Make sure you get samples first, if you choose an online supplier.

I'll second that.
