Title: high speed egine miss

I ahave an 82 eagle it has a miss at high speed and pulling hills any help

When did the engine last have a tune-up?
Thinking of new plugs, cables, rotor & cap.
What kind of ignition coil do you have?

And check the vacuum hose to the distributor too.

And before shelling out for new plugs, etc., do the TFI upgrade instead. Higher voltage coil (better power, mileage & lower emissions; depending on your driving style!) with the corresponding wires, wider gapped plugs, dist cap to handle the higher voltage.

ditto on the vacuum hoses
any leaks and it won't run as intended
many like the ECM test, where you eliminate as many vacuum hoses as possible in order to "test to see where the problem is"
many find they require "many years of testing trouble free"
