Traveling home from work the other day I just so happen to have my wifes camera in my work truck. As fate would have it I passed this beauty on Hwy 24 near woodland park co. (http://i1208.photobucket.com/albums/cc377/shanebo79/3110.jpg) (http://i1208.photobucket.com/albums/cc377/shanebo79/3111.jpg)
That's a nice looking Eagle! But then again, aren't they all nice looking!
Looks like that AMC Eagle Wagon is still being used as a daily driver, its looks like its got the groceries in the back.
It was an older guy who looked just like colnel Sanders...the handle bar mustache and pointy goatee and everything...no white suit though....I was in my big block chevy one ton and I was having a hard time keeping up with him on that hill...Im guessing it may have some sort of performance upgrades on it...he was rollin along at 75 mph up a very steep hill
nice siting shane that is a nice looking wagon.
Way to go, Shanebo! Nice capture there.
I love the description... "looked just like colnel Sanders...the handle bar mustache and pointy goatee and everything...no white suit though..." I actually laughed out loud when I read that.
Oh yeah...No greasy fingers and chickin bones that I could see either. :rotfl:

I wonder if he poured some of the 11 herbs and spices into his gas tank. :o
That front mud flap is interesting, looks like it wraps all the way around the wheelwell. I guess that's one way to keep road crud out of the inner fenders.
I hadn't notice till El Matador metion it, the front mud flap dose go around the wheel weld and they seam to be factory made.

Nope, me either. No matter the car, some people come up with some interesting fixes.
SWEET. Aren't all of ours capable of steep hills at 75mph?! ;-)

Don't rub it in. I'm not sure mine will do 75 down hill.
I've done hills at 75 with 4 mattresses on top loaded with 3 adults and 3 kids with 2.35gears.

Was that uphill or down? :o
Sorry up foot somewher next to the front axle
ya, but mk, would that have been the stroker? :rotfl:
He double sticks no. Just my 86 waggy with igniter upgrade and a 21??. Lost mpg like crazy. So long ago cannot fully remember. Maybe 12 from almost 20mpg.
Twins btw 2 box 2 matress. Plus buk hardware. Make sure to not leave hatch open says watering eyes.
Btw,holy crap got drawn into this hijack. Atleast its a fluff topic. Haha sorry shane
I really dig those mud flaps!
Those front mud flaps look like somthing you would see hanging off the back end of a Peterbilt! As a red neck I can certainly appreciate that.
I've never seen a 'wrap-around' mud flap before. I wonder if the front might even hook onto the bumper LOLOL
The mud flap looks to be well done. The one on the rear is shiny.
I see window vents and I don't see a roof rack.
I didnt even notice the roof rack delete when I saw it!...good eye!
