james828 welcome to the Nest.
Nice looking AMC Eagle.
Don't forget to ask your parents for a good tool set for Xmas.
Yours is exactly like mine! Same color and year. I don't have the plaid insets on my seats, but otherwise they're identical. Yours is in much better shape, though, although mine is coming along, thanks to the help of the people here.
You have yourself a nice Eagle....and welcome to the 'nest :eagle:
Great 82 Eagle! My first car was my 1967 Rambler Rebel. I was an AMC fan when I was 8 years old and started driving that all the way through high school.. My college car was an 84 Celebrity.
i wish that i found this site when i had a heater core problem. it took days to find the bolts to take out. i also took apart the dash but then i found out i only needed about 3 bolts i took out about 30. i put it back together but have 10 left over misc screws and bolts. so now i need to do it again.
Welcome to the nest...it is nice to see that we have "younger" people joining, they are our future of keeping the "AMC's" going.
I don't own any eagles, I own J trucks. My hubby has an Eagle and many more AMC's, so I kinda do :hello2:
I have taken my truck apart and you always find extra hardware left over, guess when we are :newbie: 's we all learn. Have fun on this site and enjoy your Eagle :)

Wow, looks like all the emissions system is still there, and is that a plastic valvecover painted AMC blue? Nice car.
