Just replace tranny on my 82 in the early spring had a lite drip but today it began to pour out in front where  the tranny meets the motor there is no hope of it being a pan gasket leak so when i remove this whole mess again what needs to be checked or fixed. any help would be great tierd of working on this tranny

at best it sounds like the front seal might be gone at worst either the front pump is gone or the torqconverter has a cracked neck and has destroyed the front seal.

Wow that sucks.  Keep me posted if there is anything I can do to help Mike.

My bird is also leaking.  Are there any other pink fluids in this thing or is that indicative of transmition fluid (my rad juice is green)?  Is it possible that it is just over flow from someone over filling it (the level seems normal on the dipstick)?
Thanks in advance, smarty-pants.

The transfer case has transmission fluid in it as well.

you MAY also have trans fluid in the power steering system. Some people use that as it's a lot cheaper.
