I'll second that. My thoughts exactly. Can't wait to see it with the trim and everything on.

You mean like this? We used to own this Gremlin, it was white with the 2 litre Porshce engine in it. We sold it, the new owner painted it and was planning to put a 401 into it. The original 2 litre engine now lives at the Rambler Ranch.

Yes, like that. Now I'm annoyed, someone's got the colour I want and I can't find out where to buy it.

If need be, I can probably contact the buyer of the car and maybe get a paint code. He always called it Panther Pink. I think he may have sold the car, as I think I saw it on Craiglist after he painted it and put in the new engine.
Hmmm, doesn't look like the early chrysler panther pink, I had a test plate made with 1970 chrysler panther pink and it looks different than that picture. If you could get a paint code I'd really appreciate it.
I'll see what I can do!

Some bodyshops can/will custom mix you car paint if you ask really nicely. I've done it before.

I had one paint guy look at a sample of the colour I want and for some reason he didn't think he could duplicate it. Maybe I need to check some other body shops.

I've found that independent shops are a lot more likely to try, than 'chain' shops. If that helps at all.

I'll keep that in mind, that might have something to do with it.

Nice!!!! My daughter loves the green color and wants me to paint the SX/4 like your wagon. I'll have to give it some thought when I get to that point! Nicely done.

casper
no, when you have a good cooling system, all works fine, no overheating.
;)
That is awesome, what an eggsellent job. Beautifull home in the background too. sweet garage !!
What is that Color? LOVE IT!
the color is original Kawasaki green ;)
today the Eagle becomes new front seats from a Cherokee ;D
(http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h380/forneby-hill/DSC0006.jpg)
** DROOL ** those seats would look awesome in my sx/4 I like it. Nice job Are you going to make the interior black too? :D
Well, thanks for the heads up (pun intended). Though I admit I am 2 inches shorter than you. But I think I have to rely on dreaming. As I am still paying for a parts rig for my brat. Seems the valve cover seals gave up on me and the water pumps on it's way out... ;-; So My eagle is just going to have to wait... need to find a second job to get my fix for my eagle... looking at a potential $10,000 build... BUT OH SO WORTH IT! anyway Thanks again for the heads up.
yes, step by step i chance the color to black ;)
i think its not easy to find original black door panels.
the plastic parts will be painted.
the driver seat was easy to install, but the passenger seat takes a lot of more work.
a little bit too high here, a little bit there, but now is all ok. ;D
You could have the panels redone if the shop is worth their salt. And could even get them looking nicer.

You can get a dye for vinyl to do your door panels:
