For me anyway! I haven't been driving it much since I found a couple of split fuel lines but I replaced them and adjust the idle down a little and figured it was time to add miles to it. Runs okay but wants to stall at traffic lights. Needs carb work and some suspension updates done. The shocks are about gone and the car sways back and forth like a mother rocking her baby to sleep.
Gosh I love that car! 8)
i drive my eagle to work everyday ;D if there is a reason i can't i just have the feeling at work like i forgot something at home. gratz on racking up some miles, here's to many more :occasion14:
I drive one of the two Eagles to work every day. It's way too far to walk, especially at 103F! ;D
Me too!!! Pretty sweet being the only Eagle in a 750 car parking lot ;D

it also works wonders at walmart ;D
Brought mine to work, and the AMCA meeting!
I go everywhere in my Eagle except when I'm walking the dog! ;D
My Eagle was my daily driver for a couple years, until February of this year. I bought a Ford Festiva since I drive a lot of miles. In the 5 months I have had the Festiva, I have put 12k miles on it. At 40+ mpg that's quite a bit of gas savings. Not to mention it allows me to keep the miles off the Eagle.
My 82 Eagle Limited is now my daily summer driver. Been using my 78 Concord but the Eagle is just so much smoother and the power locks, windows just add to the enjoyment. The Eagle also is much faster that the Concord. Must be the rear axle ratio, Eagle has 308.
This pass winter was the worse in years and I just enjoyed it as old man winter could not stop the Eagle.
Enjoy them.
I would drive the Eagle to work everyday, but, I have to park on the side of the road, I'd rather not risk its existance with that action.....Therefore I drive easily replaceable vehicles, lol.
I drive my eagle FOR work every day. I go around to see customers in it.... not sure what kind of message I'm sending.
I drive one or the other to work every day.
I hope to get my Eagle up and running in the next couple weeks (It's in a garage so I can work on it when the weather changes)
Drove mine to work Friday. First time I've taken it on the interstate. I was curious to see how it would do at 70+mph. Did pretty good. Cruised well at speed. The General Grabbers didn't growl as some had told me they would. That was nice. Only issue is the cursed plastic valve cover did seem to leak a little extra and at the first light after getting off the highway there was some smoke coming from underneath the hood. By the time I had gotten to the next light it had totally disapated and no more James Bond smoke screen. I need to get the exhaust replaced as there is a leak up front and it sounds like an undisciplined diesel. Also need to put carpet back in it as the previous owner had removed it.
