I have a set of AMC power mirrors off an eagle that i want to install on my wagon, does anyone have a schematic for the mirrors (mainly what color does what on the controls, and what color does what on the mirror head it self)
This may help.

Here's the Power Mirror Circuit Diagram from my 81 TSM. Sorry for the not so great quality.

thank you both so very much, an egg to both of you. The mirrors are on deck to be installed tomarrow once I finish installing the power wire for the amplifier (no sub woofers just rear speakers)

thanks everyone, I was getting ready to install them today and I noticed that the yellow and white wires comming out of the one mirror are both white. a little further investigating is in order before install
I wonder if the yellow faded to white?

that is my best guess, I am going to strip a little bit of the sleeve that covers the 3 wires and see if some yellow shows itself. If that doesn't work then I am going to be forced to dissemble the mirror and see what wire goes where and label them so I can install them
Hello,
The mirror switch reverses polarity to the motors causing them to change direction .... if you can access the wires to the mirror .... apply +12v to one of the wires ( white or yellow doesn't matter which one ) then ground the blue wire ... if the mirror moves right or left you're on the YELLOW .... if it moves up or down you are on the WHITE. ... Putting positive on the blue and grounding either the yellow for RT / LT, or white for UP / DOWN... ( moves mirror in opposite direction to when ground was on blue ).
