Safelite was out today replacing my windshield/windscreen. They came out and it took around 45 minutes on site. Last year they replaced my 84 Eagle adn I was VERY happy with their work and style of the windshield. They are highly recommended and I'm very happy that the state of MN has an available 0 deductible for auto glass replacement. Comes in handy. Had a nasty chip with crack thanks to an Allied Waste Management truck.
Here in New Brunswick I priced one the other day. They didn't have one for an Eagle but they did for a Concord, (they're the same), with an installed price of $249.00.
MN has an option of $0 cost glass; $0 deductible. They had this one in stock for I replaced my 84 Eagle's last fall, $0 out of pocket. Usually it took them 3-5 days to track it down.
here in pueblo colorado i got one for $150 last summer and it only took them a few days to get it in.
In Denver I replaced the windshield on my Gremlin last year, same glass as for the Eagle. I think it was in the $160-175 range. They had several in stock.
eagle windshields are glued in like all newer cars and have no seal like older cars do.

I had mine done here in Calgary, and it was $225 installed. But since the car wasn't mobile, and where my car was parked (outside the city) it was an extra $50 for the 'house call'.
The windshield glass is still available.

and just to clear up a little muddyness i have, all eagles, concordes, gremlins, hornets, spirits ect are all the same windshield? from what year back? (just incase i get lucky enough to get stuck with an IDIOT at the computer looking for my glass)
Yes, from what I understand the glass for all of them is the same, although the Eagle windshields may have a bit of black around the edges. They are all the same shape.
And no gasket, like maddog says.
My glass shop told me there were different part numbers for earlier models vs later. Not sure but the difference may be that heavier tinting at the top.
The shop that did mine said I could get the darker tint (called black tint??), the lighter tint (the blue tint with a shorter band) and no tint.
Just don't expect them to have the rear glass for the wagon. None to be had by any company at least here in the SE US.

That is why I want to buy a complete parts car.
