Title: SX4 in Richmond, IN
Post by: Zoro on May 12, 2011, 08:48:46 AM
Spotted an Eagle Sx4 at some repair shop/used car lot in Richmond, Indianna. I70 exit 151 directly accross from the Love's truck stop. It was tan with brown flares and looked to be in great condition except that it was missing the grille.

It appears that it is. It's been there for quite some time.

Try to google earth the location. Once you are in street view you can read the phone number on the sign.

I would like to hear what this guy is asking for it, In the same token, I personally would inspect this very closely, If it has sat there very long, I have to wonder if it is a bit over priced. Sx/4's aren't exactly overlooked by even those that aren't AMC enthusiasts. and for a 4wd it is a great entry level vehicle usually the stance alone should turn some heads.

OK I just got done driving through Richmond Indiana from the safety of my laptop. Anyway, it is exit 149, not 151. The name of this place is Specialty Enterprises, 2931 US hwy 35 North, Richmond Indiana, 47374-9707, (765)-935-4556. I work weekends so let me know if you get intouch with them on Saturday.

The street sign was blurry but the marker in the road in front had this info. It could be for either building or both. That's my disclaimer

It is a more conservative color scheme which could make it a bit less tempting to someone who is not an AMC or Eagle fan. Or it could just be overpriced. All I know is it sure grabs my attention.

I dont know what it is about Sx4's but different color schemes really change the look of the car. The reds and blacks really made them look like a sports car but the milder colors like white or tan made them look alot more tame. I guess that goes for alot of cars of that era....I remember in the 80's when alot of the corvettes and camaros were done up in brown or or gold and it really made them look very unaggressive.

I have to agree. A red or black SX4 would be sweet!

Sorry about that. Apparently my mental snapshots aren't all that great ;D
