Brought this up once buried in another post, but shanebo's question about the St. Lauren plush fabric seats made me wonder about this again...
In the 1988 Eagle brochure for salespeople (found on this site in the 1988 Eagle post) there is a reference to the new-for-'88 garnet (red) leather interior option.
I have seen this interior once in my life (that I can remember...not even sure if it was a pic or in person). I'm wondering if anybody out there has an Eagle with what has to be the rarest of all interior options?
I'd love to see a picture! DG
I did see one some months back in a Cripple Creek casino parking garge. dark red and wood paneling exterior and dark red leather on the inside...It was perfect too! That was the first and last one I have ever seen in that color scheme.
If you guys are still interested, I have a parts car that has the garnet leather interior. I had absolutely no idea how rare it was when I purchased it. I can snap a few pictures sometime. The car hasn't been on the road in a couple of years so there's some dust and dirt building up, but the interior is actually in very good shape despite the layer of soil that has accumulated.
I would love to see some pictures of that interior!

Gotta love that red leather. You are one lucky owner!
Wow I want those seats. They are a red version of the leather limited seats used in 85 through 87. Nice!
Thats my favorite interior color by far, i think it looks very classy....it begs the question why more people didn't go for that color scheme
Just got the interior of my parts car wiped down good and took some pictures. It really is in amazing condition for a car that sat under a tarp for 2 years with broken out windows in the back.

Is this interior going to be for sale?If so I am interested. Thanks
I am going to sell the interior, I just don't know how I want to go about it. Several members have expressed interest and I don't know how to go about this in a fair manner.
A in house auction sounds fair to me! That way we all have a shot.
Just FYI for shipping me and 83eagle used greyhound to ship both front seats and rear seat. It arrived in a timely manner and it cost around 140.00 if im not mistaken...it was much cheaper than usps or fedx. Congrats to who ever gets those amazing seats.....AND THEY ARE POWER SEATS TO BOOT!!! Im really wishing mine had a garnet interior right now!
The auction is up! http://forums.amceaglenest.com/index.php?topic=36682.0 (http://forums.amceaglenest.com/index.php?topic=36682.0)

It's a still life I took of my cluttered interior on a road trip to Utah last summer. I actually had no idea how rare my color scheme was until I saw this thread. Even before I owned my car, I always thought woody exterior with garnet vinyl interior was the best possible color scheme.
