Title: secondary fuse box power source question

alright guys can i safley run a 8 guage wire from the ignition post on the solonoid to a secondary fuse box for my 12 volt accessorys? or is there another spot i can run it too? i just want this fuse box to have power when i got the key turned

Will your alternator handle the extra load you intend to add to it?

I am thinking you could, are you also going to fuse the 8 ga primary?

why? why what? why the scondary fuse box? im tired of running wires to the battery or pulling power from the orginal fuse box. so i figure ill just put a fuse box in my passenger kickpanel since i no longer have my computer

I wouldn't.  The ignition post is not for feeding power but for power to be fed to it, if that makes sense. Your best bet would be to use a relay that will energize with the ignition on.

I agree, that would be a better way to go.

Yup
