Title: Hello From Belgium ( Near Bastogne )
Post by: WhiteWagon on May 01, 2011, 02:15:08 PM
Hello,
I come here to say hello as a new AMC Eagle Wagon of 1982 happy owner.
It will be in my garage in approximately 15 days.
I was born in 1964 and i have a passion for your cars for approximately 20 years ago.
My last project, the restoration of this Eagle Wagon.
My Friend Elcamino in Sweden had his Eagle for two years will help me (Klaus)
Not very easy to find this car in Europe.
I would take all the information possible on your very beautiful and enriching forum.
Please excuse my poor English, I must use a online translator for reading and writing.
You see anything cannot prevent my passion.
Here a smal picture from my next project.
This is not me on the photograph  ;D

Welcome Julien!  Klaus along with our other European members will be your best source of knowledge for accessing parts.  Of course, the rest of us will assist you as needed.   That is a very nice looking Eagle wagon that you will be getting.

You are welcome.  I forgot that French is the language spoken in Belgium.  I know enough to be dangerous.  I have never been to your country but my father "visited" it in 1944 and 1945.

You are forgetting several.  Let's see if they chime in to jog your memory.

Hello there and wellcome to be a member of this (unofficial) "european eagle owners club"...

"So now we are 5 (at least the "active" ones): Jurjen, Petr, Juhap, Julien and me...

I think that there are more of us here in old continent than these 5 mentioned. In Finland I know a couple more. One who owns a Wagon and this "only one in Scandinavia" Kammback (as far as I know). And here is one who is selling his Wagon. And there was a lady owner, who sold her Wagon to me...  :hello2: (actually she is a Mustang lover who has sold her heart to Eagles) And of course this man who imported the first Eagle to Finland 1980, and still uses it! In Sweden there are several Eaglers. (I wonder, where are "swedish Eagles pages"? I couldn´t find them any more!)

Hey Julien how are you today?  I live in Mons, but I am an American.  I own an Eagle that is currently in the States.  I would love to help you on your quest to restore your car.

I barely speak french, but I get around ok.  I have been to Bastogne for the march in December.  How much english do you speak?  Hopefully you read this soon.

How do you get around the CT?  I do not think my Eagle would pass the CT here.  Hope to talk to you.
