My love has come along , OK that's enough with the song . After endless road trips, missed opportunities , or "the I just sold it ", or my favorite ,after traveling to Pittsburgh PA from central NY, " Dude I Just cant part with this car", I kid you not..
I'm very pleased to announce that I'm the proud owner of 85 wagon. I'm going to tomorrow to throw in a quick exhaust from the Cat back, it aint got no pipes or muffler, any idea of the size ID & OD anybody got a suggestion for a muffler??, I'm thinkin' glasspack, cuz I love the neighbors.
Here's the link to some pics , check out the paperwork I found in the glove box, will post more @ a later date, thanks everybody,

we would love to see some outside pics of your new eagle. as for the exaust i think it is 2 or 2 1/2. oh and i have a glasspack on one of mine and i for one like how it sounds.
The exhaust is 2.5". I'm running straight pipes with no cat and a glasspack on my Concord and Eagle, it sounds pretty nice...And believe me isn't roaring loud that it would give you a headache.
Congratulations. Stock exhaust is 2".

Lol, I always was told it was 2.5"... Oh well, the extra .5" wouldn't hurt, right?
Sweet kral. Nice finding one. Have any more pics? And where in CNY are you? We are starting to get a few more of us Eagle people around here. :o
Some have gone to 2.5" with no ill effects, that I know of. I don't know how much that would decrease back pressure, which you do need some of. I eliminated one back pressure device and have not noticed any problems, I did retain a OE style muffler though.
No more pics until I clean her up, sorry guys.

Haha, that's downstate! I always have to remember how large an area is considered "Central NY." ;D
Hey, I'm not sure if you have seen the post about the potential north east meet. If it comes to fruition maybe you can come with your new Eagle?
