Title: Towing a Kammback
Post by: ledzeppelin3270 on April 24, 2011, 10:32:53 AM
Hey guys, i'm going to be picking up a Kammback project car later this week.  I was just wondering if anyone knows the best way to tow it.  I have a front wheel tow dolly, but with the Eagle obviously being 4wd it presents a problem.  Would I be fine if put the car in neutral while towing? I'm not sure.

best bet would be a full trailer-all wheels off the ground.
if you're gonna dolly it, pull the rear driveshaft after loading on the dolly

Congrats on picking up a Kammback!  There aren't many left!  Where are you located?  Any pictures?

wow! that kammback looks familiar ;D

Like sleepsundercars mentioned pulling the rear driveshaft once it is on the dolly is the only way to tow it, I WAS going to use my 83 wagon and a dolly to get my kammback, but the wagon didn't make it home under it's own power after the trip to purchase the kammback :(

The only way to go.
