Browsing a local classifieds site (yes, I'm still looking for a second Eagle, one ain't enough), I found this one:

A bit pricey, but the seats are stunning. I never saw that leather color. Anybody here has something similar ?
Just for curiosity, it would be nice to have a "rare" car with "rare" interiors...
My 1980 Limited wagon had that same interior and it was beautiful with the contrasting dark, thick pile carpet. Seems like they went to the darker tone leather not long after....maybe an '80-only color for the Eagle? My 1980 sales brochure calls it Chelsea Leather.
Ah, yes the leather pillow top seats. I will have to check the catalogs but I believe they were not used for very long in Eagles.
Yes, in fact it's a 1980... they're in really good shape ! I'd buy the car just for the seats, but $10,000 for a set of seats seems a bit too much...
It is a nice find (but a bit $$$$). It still has the short bumper end caps.
I think the 80 and early 81 models are the most interesting (automatic 4WD).
I have the same seats, but darker.
The pillow top style went through '84, but that light cream tone was, I think, only 1980 for the Eagle. I notice there were a number of little details on my '80 that seemed a little different than the later years, but those seats really stood out.
My 84 has the pillow top in tobacco color
Yea 10,000 is a bunch but look at it this way,10,000 for the seats and the car is free! Hope that helps in easing the pain!
I just happen to have a set in my back bedroom to compare (http://i1208.photobucket.com/albums/cc377/shanebo79/2259.jpg)

Looks like the button tucks are different...Ive never seen one with the 4 buttons like that. My 82 Limited had seats just like the ones in this pic. Those had to have been a pre 82 thing...or a maybe the Eagles sold in Europe had a bit different interior schemes....Love that creme color too!!
I had an 81' Black exterior, same color int. as the one you were inquiring about. Same seats, and it was a fully powered car, power seats, windows, and locks, with the gauge cluster center console. Wish I never had to scrap that thing :(
The early eagles had such better interior options!
I still have yet to find an 85 to 88 Eagle with intermittent wipers. I had to get mine from early Eagles and Matadors.
Our 83, 86 parts car, and 88 all have intermittent wipers. It took me a long time to realze that the 88 had it because it was so hard to turn the knob to the left.
my first eagle was an 82, and it had solid black fabric seats. Not pillow top. Not leather or anything just black fabric. i havent seen any like it sense. but i also havent seen a lot of the black interiors. do you think that the seats were re -upholstered and in perfect condition and that i should be kicking myself for ever letting it go.
Hmm,now you have me wondering;I have an 87 with the same style seating but the darker(nutmeg?) color.I dont think it'll move too fast at that price though.
Don, I second that, but Eagles are really really pricey here... There's another one (also in northern Italy) for sale at something like $30,000. Last year a guy offered 15,000 for mine (no way ;) ).
They're "exotic" cars here, and classics too, not to mention they're quite rare. My "philosophy" is to only buy stuff that increases its value in time, that's why I drive an Eagle ;D
WOW! That's a lot of LOOT!!
That's why when I see the offers for Eagles in USA I always start drooling... Knowing myself, though, I could buy 5 Eagles and never make a buck out of them. I'd end up keeping them all in my driveway and driving a diff'rent one each day of the week ;)
