I need to repaint the SX/4. It came from the factory with Silver Mist Metalic. By time I got it, it looked like poorly applied flat gray primer. Here are the ones I have for you to consider:
Silver Metalic

Gun Metal Gray

I'm a fan of gun metal grey, since my Peugeot 406 coupe has that color.
Did already have some welding done to the underside?
Dang! Like the Eagle of the Month its a tie.
2 to many choices
Gun metal grey is pretty good, but if it was me, I'd go with the Frost Blue Metalic. I can see that on a car. it just might look really good.
Other then a perfect Pearl white, (and this is my own opinion) I would never paint a car that was 'too neutral'. Have some kind of color in it.
I voted for the frost blue metallic, but I must admit an alterior motive. I want to see how it looks on yours because I'm leaning that way for mine. I've got the two-tone blue (slate on top, midnight on bottom) and I will likely go with a lighter blue for the whole car.
Rooting for blue!
Thanks to everyone so far. That blue is kind of growing on me too.
It should
I like the gun metal grey myself, but I think applied right all of the choices would look sweet on the SX/4.
Another vote for blue. :P ...... doug could you pm me where you found those paints cause I like the whole kit idea ;D
just used that company to paint mine good paint I like the frost myself. easy to used it and doesn't require clear coat.

Here is the link to the site. Thanks to AllenD for leading us to it. http://www.paintforcars.com/
Well Doug, if you want to see what the blue would look like on the sx4, just look at Eaglegirls. I used the gm version of that color called stealth gray, even though it's blue lol, they also called it Blue granite for a while, chryslers version is called steel blue. I believe that would be pretty close to the frost blue you have listed. ;D We were tossing around virtually the same colors before she decided on the bluish one, lol.
Thanks Shag. I will take a look at that one.
which color did you decide on???
I'm leaning towards the gun metal, since you have black and red trim, blue may have you thinking about repainting the trim later
I voted blue, but I'm also partial to blue myself, I'm planning on painting the 84 wagon a deeper blue when I startnwork on it.
I am leaning toward the blue. But I do want to keep the black sport trim. So that is a consideration too.
you have red trim correct? If you go blue why not keep the black trim and paint the red stripes a darker metallic blue, just a thought
Yes, the red trim could be changed. Hmmmmmmmmm, a darker blue??? Have to ponder that. I am not too good matching complementary colors.
