I picked up this 1981 Concord this last weekend:

Hey hey, congratulations - looks like a pretty straight and clean car! ...with old-school Cragars too!
Thanks. Overall, it is pretty clean and straight. I took off the Keystone Raiders and went back to the factory wheel covers. I like the stock look of these sedans.
Looks like a keeper to me. Great find!
Very nice. Good luck with it.
I love it!!I would love a concord like that!! Those concords are really hard to find here in colorado. Looks to be in excelent shape too. Congradulations on the find!!
Sweet ride, reminds me of my 82 I had back in the day with stock rims and tan top though 8)
Dammm that looks good. wicked!

Shanebo, there is an 83 Concord on the Denver Craigslist right now, was listed on May 13. Green one.
I finally finished rebuilding the heater box, installing different tires and wheels, and polishing the paint this weekend. I think the Concord looks much happier now:

Sweet, Sweet,Sweet! Had one just like it that wife and I bought new.She wrecked it three times, none her fault. So I traded it in wrecked for a new Eagle but never the less loved that Concord!
Thanks for the compliments! In the early 80s, one of the local AMC dealers had an identical one in the showroom and I spent a lot of time looking at it and wanting it. When this one came for sale, I had to snatch it up.
That is a freaking awesome looking car. Well done!
WOW!! That Concord looks amazing....so thats what they looked like new!!!!! :o

That is a sweet looking Concord. I have looked at a couple around here. Always wanted a 2 door. Nice work.
SWEET
 *no comment, just wow*
That's such a nice looking car. Classy and kinda tough at the same time. The 5-spoke AMC wheels look perfect on it!
Very nice 2 door! :hello2:
Great! Is that a two-tone paint job?
I no longer have the wheels as I sold them to buy the AMC wheels that are on the car now. It is two-tone paint - vintage red iridescent over deep maroon iridescent.

It really suits the looks of the car 8)

It is the factory original paint. When I first bought the car, I didn't realize it was two-toned due to the faded paint. After a good polishing, the two-tone scheme really popped out.
