For some reason, mine has always worked after the update. I've had mine on my profile for a long time, that could be why that I have the right format of URL.
So if you want a weather sticker, do this:
<a href="http://www.wunderground.com/US/XX/YOUR_TOWN.html?bannertypeclick=miniStates"><img src="http://weathersticker.wunderground.com/weathersticker/miniStates/language/www/US/XX/YOUR_TOWN.gif" alt="Click for YOUR_TOWN, STATE Forecast" border="0" height="100" width="150" / > < / a >
>>>Edit, I have been tinkering with this now again for some time. To make it work you need to add the above characters in GREEN (Which was missing in the original posting). The only thing is that you have to remove the spaces in between the characters because otherwise the forum changes it. So that's the only way I can show the proper characters to use without the forum changing it.
Just enter your town name and state and also state initials where the "XX" is. Make sure when replacing the letters, that you don't accidentally delete something.
If anyone needs further help, you can PM me if you wish. I'd be glad to help! I tried to make this as easy to follow as I could, as it's pretty much an advanced computer topic...
Hope this helps...

EGGCELLENT! Thanks so very much. It finally worked for me.
agreeded thank you! i gave ya an egg and realized that iowa's weather background is cooler than pennsylvania's :(
yeah the only thing missing from his is the letters AMC. ;D ;D
That's our State Flag. The Eagle in the picture is holding a banner that says: Our Liberties we prize and our Rights we will maintain.
:) Your welcome, It kinda dawned on me that I probably had the only one working on the whole site...and I should probably share my knowledge lol. Enjoy everyone :amc:
When I kept using the one from their site our software, like you said added the extra stuff. But for some reason it would not show up when I tried to re-edit my profile. So I just pasted yours into my signature box and followed your great instructions. Worked like a charm!
Great job, son
Yeah I need to figure out what happened to my signature weather gauge. It got messed up when we transitioned to the new format.

Just copy that text on the original post by me and enter your city and state and state initials in the right places then paste into your signature space.
Trying it out. Thanks
Again. missed the last"

How about now
I'm gonna win

This was a test, since I notice some people are having difficuties.
Hmm... I just noticed something that didn't show up when I put up the original post. It just doesnt let me put these certain characters together... it is /></a> Which I know when I save this post will turn into something goofy... It's supposed to be / > < / a > without any spaces
I'll have to just put on the side--"Don't forget to add this"
>>I'll get this cleared up for you guys

Byrdock, I can see what you're missing. You are missing the " mark after width=150. Also, you need to add / > < / a > without any spaces at the very end.
Thanks mate I will try and upgrade.
OK done, I just followed the instructions on the Wunderground website.
Upgraded my Dutch Guy video (youtube link) too, still funny I guess.
Another try:
Here's Robert's:

remove the spaces at the very end. Which is in between these:

I fixed it for you eaglefreak. Now, if you want go to modify mode in the post above and then copy and paste the code into your signature, to see what happens.
Thanks, I think I fixed while you fixed it also.
All is good now in Tennessee. It would be nice if we could get at least all 50 States going on here.
Again and again-
I had it fixed once for you Jim.
I thought so too but it never did work. This is another effort with one that Robert fixed.
Take a look again Jim. Is it working for you now? I can see it from my end.
Here we go again, Doug.
So can you see it? Its 41 degree and mostly cloudy in LR
Hey, all right!!! Thank you.
Late this afternoon I remoted in to my daughter's computer, 400 miles away, and removed some very bad malware in the form some of this insidious scareware that has become so prevalent.
Then I couldn't make the weather thing work.
Embarrassing.
You had one little tiny mistake in it. That's all it takes with this computer stuff.

I have tried to copy that post and add in my town's information. The link comes up, but when I post it to my information it does not show up.
I had one that has worked for a long time. A couple of months ago I noiced it stopped working. Seems they got rid of the style I had
I have tried to get this banner thing to work by copying the post and adding in the information for my town more than a half dozen times, but I can't get it to work.
I fixed it for you Brandon. I put in Omaha, you can change that if you wish by replacing Omaha with another town.
LOL, I am afraid to try it, it looks more daunting than photobucket , lol. I would give you a NY info if I can get it to work.... : )
I think I got you going. It really helps when the town is in a profile.
Thanks IE - eggededededed ya of course.
You are welcome.
The only thing I'm noticing with IE, 68AMXGOPAC, 83Eagle! and others, is that the url link has taken over the entire text. Like the text telling us what cars you have. Somehow, the link is being spread over that, which shouldn't be like that. Make sure the weather sticker is alone and all by itself in the signiture text box. (Like a good enough space away from other letters and characters)
You are right. Must fix that.

Thanks Doug. I saw that and figured it was you who fixed it. Mine had all my information posted in my signature twice. I changed that, and after three tries I was able to change it to say La Vista instead of Omaha.
Thanks for the help.
Good deal.
on a side note I noticed today that juhap's weather thingie still works like it did in diamond plate nest
