My Wife and I were out cruzin yesterday and spotted this AMC Pacer

The place was closed or I would have taken some pics of the "motor"
VERY INTERESTING! now there is a rare car!
would like to see more of it myself.
Very cool. I'd imagine the "motor" would look similar to this. Actually motor IS the correct term in this case ;).

I was almost tempted by a battery powered Jeep DJ a couple of years ago, I resisted.
Is that Gainesville FL?
Here is another electric Pacer.

Now that is a true survivor. Would love to know the story behind that one.
And a standard too. Wonder how much of a difference that made on battery life.
AMAZING!!
I've never seen one of those before!
If for sale, I'd buy that in a heartbeat, maybe

East of Gainsville in the Melrose area out towards Melrose Landing.
That is really cool. I don't remember seeing any info on an electric Pacer before.
For the record, I think "Change of Pace" is a good name for an electric Pacer.
this car (or one similar?) is up for auction right now on flea bay. a 78 AMC EVA Pacer
