I started working on this today. My primary source of information only goes thru 1986 so I still need to research other sources for those missing years and to check the information I have so far on this one.
Regarding the abbreviations I used
NA = Item was not available
STD = Standard Equipment
ND = No Data, this only means I could not find any information. The item could be NA or STD.
If you see a range of prices for an item this means a particular item varied in price depending on the level of trim on the model it is being added to. Part of the option may already be on the car or the price of another option is deducted because of the next higher upgrade.

What is the difference between Air Conditioning and Air Conditioning Package?
I think the package included tinted windows and HD cooling and some other stuff. I am guessing the single pricing later on just included those items.
Upated the list with corrected tire info and a few things from '88. '87 and '88 information is hard to find.
Doug,
Good info here, appreciate it.
Eddie
I certainly appreciate all the work, but my tri-focals can't read it, even after clicking on it.
I wonder how large it is opening up for you Jim? My tired old eyes can see it and I know I need new specs. But you do have one more "focal" than I do -- at least for now.
Way too small to read, but I saved it and can zoom in and read it.
Maybe it is opening up different on your computer than mine Jim. I have noticed things like that when I use a different computer than this one. Maybe the experts can tell us. I know on one other computer that I use the image does open up smaller and there is a little magnifier icon that you click on to enlarge it.
Go to internet options under the advanced tab scroll down to you see automatic resizing and uncheck the box if you don't want the picture the normal size. If the box is checked the picture is smaller and has the magnifer in the right corner to make the picture its normal size.
Also, if you have a scroll wheel on your mouse, just hold down the ctrl key and use the wheel to resize the image.
Thanks, Eaglesx4. The tip about auto resizing worked.
I thought that by 88 AMC built nothing but wagons. The table lists 12,995 4-dr sedans.
Whoops! My mistake. Thanks for catching that Jim. Will fix it up tonight.
And, I see where the goof was. It was in the description of the vehicle, the prices are in the right row, I forgot to change sedan to wagon in that row.
I've got the "Left/Right Chrome Remote Mirrors" on my -88... The adjustingknob is above the hoodopener.
Electric or Cable?
Cable! Sorry, forgot to write that. :-[
So, they remained the standard mirror 'til the end, with electric always as an option.
My 88 has
left/right electric mirrors
power driver seat
power passenger seat
power door locks/windows
Doug-
I have the 87 AMC salesmen book. If you want to email me a copy of your excel spreadsheet listing the options and prices, I'll enter the 87 data and mail it back to you.

Sure Brad, that will be of great help to us.
For anyone not able to read the pricing, here is a link to a spreadsheet with pricing.

Moved discussion to the newer thread.... (https://forums.amceaglesden.com/index.php?topic=47714.new#new)
So that puts my '82 eagle wagon at $12 328 with all factory and dealer installed options.
Or about $35 875 today. Yikes.

That's not too bad compared to what a lot cost. Mine was 13,661 new, or $39,237 today
